| Human Territories |
| Regalia
The great city of Regalia is the only true bastion of strength the humans have. After poisoning the previous inhabitants, the humans have made themselves right at home, constructing beautiful buildings out of the smoky grey stone.

| The Palace (2 sub-boards)
Of all the human sanctuaries in the Underland, the Palace is the ultimate source of safety. This giant, nearly impenetrable stronghold serves not only as the royal family's residency but also as the shelter for all Regalians during a time of war. Also contains the Hospital and the High Hall, a well-known meeting place for officials.

| The Arena
The main location for sports in the Underland. The moss-like ground serves as a surface for land sports, such as gymnastics, while bleachers rise up around this to the top of the cave for spectators. The sky is used as much as the ground is, serving as a safe location for flier-human ball games.

| The Garden of the Hesperides
One of the only places that contain fertile soil in the Underland, the Garden of Hesperides was named by the bats after the mythical island in the Overland. The garden is famous for the sweet aroma that comes from the apples that grow nowhere else in the Underland.

| The Settlement
While most humans live in the city-state of Regalia, some have migrated elsewhere. A small settlement by the banks of a river in the human territories houses a few more adventurous souls. Most of the buildings are modified tents, and the lack of walls makes this place vulnerable to attack.

| Flier Caves |
| Caverns
The Caverns is the home of all fliers. This enormous, twisting tunnel contains countless dens pocketing the sides. Each flier (or flier couple) gets one hole in the wall on a typical basis. During the day, the Caverns are filled with busy fliers going in and out of their homes.

| The Pillar
The “marketplace” in the Flier Lands. The Pillar always has at least ten fliers within, whether they be guards or simply citizens on a daily flight. The Pillar is the source of all news and business for the fliers and is occasionally visited by humans.

| Gnawer's Domain |
| The Rivers (1 sub-board)
Also known as Lethe and Kyrene. These two rivers run right through Gnawer Territory and provide the gnawers with their main food item: fish. The lands surrounding Lethe and Kyrene are notably good meeting places because of the food availability nearby and the number of witnesses present at any given time.

| The Tunnels
The Tunnels is a general name for the complicated network that houses the gnawers of the Underland. Each gnawer has his or her own cave within. It is inadvisable for any other species to enter because frequently, someone inside is hungry.

| The Labyrinth
A maze located in a remote corner of the gnawers' land. The Labyrinth is rarely visited by any members of any species (including rats). The only significant use of the Labyrinth is for safeguarding precious items as the place is difficult to penetrate.

| Unclaimed Lands |
| The Dead Lands
Although the Dead Lands are technically unclaimed, it is common knowledge that the vast, lifeless lands belong to the gnawers. These rocky plains are known to be utterly uninhabitable by humans and serve as a location for the banished.

| The Waterway
The Waterway is a giant, violent river that flows through the heart of the Underland. It is the source of all other rivers in the Underland and flows to an unknown place. The Waterway is usually not traveled, though many fliers have attempted and usually failed to fly the entire length.

| The Blasted Lands
The Blasted Lands contains nothing significant other than a vast, rocky plain perfect for battles. Many wars have been fought on this land and many more are expected to occur.

| The Jungle
The Jungle, as its name promises, is well-known for its extremely dense vegetation that is rare in the Underland. However fertile the land may be, visiting this forest of vines is inadvisable, as the amount of benefits are equal to the amount of dangers, such as poisonous frogs and deadly plants.

| The Fire Lands
A widely unexplored area, the Fire Lands is known for the volcanoes that inhabit the area. Because of the spontaneous eruptions, no one bothers visiting for fear of being entrapped and dying of either poisonous gas or lava.
